Sausage Jalapeño Popper Dip
Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage (regular or spicy)
- 2-3 jalapeño peppers, minced and seeds removed
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup Monterrey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
1. Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned, then drain off any excess fat.
2. Mince the jalapeños and grate the Monterrey Jack and Parmesan cheeses.
3. Add the cooked sausage, cream cheese, and sour cream to the skillet. Stir over medium heat until the cream cheese has melted and the mixture is smooth.
4. Stir in the garlic powder and minced jalapeños.
5. Add the Monterrey Jack cheese and stir until melted.
6. Transfer the mixture to an oven-safe dish, sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top, and bake at 375°F for about 15 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
7. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve.
